Luckily, all of the drivers immediately behind him were driving carefully enough to notice and to change lanes so they wouldn’t hit him. Many of the drivers rolled down their windows and hollered out things like, "Pull off to the side!" or "Go over to the side!". But the Styrofoam would dismiss each one with a half-nod.
A few minutes into this, a driver who was not so careful came along and ran right into the Styrofoam, crushing his bike and sending him flying into the windshield of another speeding vehicle. He bounced around from windshield to windshield until traffic was light enough for him to drag himself over to the side of the road.
"I’ll never do that again!", said the Styrofoam.
